Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026.
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on the Target Grow website, operated by Mark as a sole trader. For questions, email info@targetgrow.co.uk. Read the privacy policy for information about personal data.
What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Websites and external services may also use other storage or access technologies. Some are needed to provide a service or protect it; others support preferences, measurement or advertising.
Browsing this website
I use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they find the site. Optional Analytics cookies, including cookies beginning with _ga, are used only after you accept statistics cookies. You can reject optional cookies and still browse the site. I do not use Google Ads or advertising pixels. There is no shopping basket, checkout or public visitor account system. Hosting and security services may use necessary technologies to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
WordPress and security-tool login/session or preference cookies may be used when an administrator signs in. Those are separate from ordinary public browsing. The site does not set a cookie or local-storage entry to remember your video choice.
You decide whether to load YouTube
Embedded YouTube players are initially replaced with a choice panel. They load only after you select “Allow YouTube and load video”. Choose “Keep video off” to leave it unloaded and continue reading, or use the separate link to watch on YouTube.
Players use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. This is not a promise that playback is cookie-free. Once loaded, YouTube may use cookies and similar technologies for playback, security, analytics and advertising, and receive information about your browser and viewing activity. The exact names and lifetimes depend on YouTube, your settings and your interaction with its services. See Google’s cookie information.
Cookie choices
The cookie banner lets you accept or reject optional cookies, or choose your preferences. Use the “Manage consent” control to change your choice later. Necessary consent-preference cookies remember your choice. Google Analytics receives information about page visits, your device and how you reached the site; it does not receive the contents of email enquiries. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Changing your video choice
- Use “Unload YouTube video” beside a loaded player to remove it.
- Use “Reset video choices” in the footer to remove all loaded players on the current page.
- A fresh page load asks you again; this site does not save a lasting approval.
Unloading a player stops it from remaining embedded on the page. It cannot remove cookies already set by YouTube or reverse information already sent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and manage your Google account settings separately. Your browser’s help pages explain its controls.
Images and external websites
The tutorial thumbnail images are hosted on this website. They do not load a YouTube player or request thumbnail images from Google. If you follow a link to YouTube or another external website, that service’s own privacy and cookie policies apply.
If the site changes
If the optional services used here change, I will update the controls and this policy.
